Oregon Tilth

Oregon Tilth, a worldwide leader in organic certification since 1974, created the Organic Land Care Accreditation Program in 2009. This program sought to create the next generation of organic land care providers in the urban landscape setting. This will finally close the gap between the organic farming movement that Oregon Tilth helped to launch and residential urban landscape care. It will provide assurance to the growing percentage of urban consumers concerned with eliminating environmentally dangerous chemicals from their home landscapes, and will create a strong framework of accountability for urban land care professionals.
I am proud to have been a part of their first graduating class in January 2010!
